''Lol Harry Hotspur is a voyeur '' is just a bit... nothingy love.

Obviously you're a c*ck, but I just feel with minimal guidance we could potentially upgrade you.

Get your thinking cap on and remember - I'm here to help, as well.

Don't know what all this stuff about Downing is about. He only looks like a diamond because they stand out in the rough.
I think Jarque would be a good buy.
Have to say, Jamie O'hara is turning out to be a real fighter. Works his little cotton socks off.
Shame about Kaboul, Boateng and Bent. I think once they get a bit more match time they will realise we are playing football.
Oh well! See you at the Lane on 23rd Feb.

Would have been a nice debut if that hadnt gone off the bar, eh?"

Jeepers keepers? Seems to me with all the stuff that's flying round, Ramos is playing close to his chest!!! But after today he must surely know that( whether he wants rid of Robbo or not )his decision lost us the game.. AKA McClaren. Both goals were bread and butter saves!! We were mediocre at best but goalkeeping let us down..
How cool ta see King back where he belongs. OUR team is unsettled because they don't know if they are coming or going, ROLL on 31st Jan COYS

Anonymous said...

"The number of my agent? I'll text you!"

Disappointed with Robbo, if he really has requested a move, especially after all the brown-nosing and flattery after the new coaching-team arrived.

Thought Tainio might have made a difference yesterday. We needed a terrier in midfield. Boateng still looks lost, but deserves some credit - he's still adapting to the style and pace of the league.

We missed Jenas!

Surely there's still some DNA of Hoddle at the Lane? Rather than sink money into transfers maybe Levy should invest in cloning.

Just read an article in The Observer on Robbo's situation, which suggests his difficulty is two-pronged: lack of form plus his support for Jol (which angered DL and DC).

Our sometime No 1 is apparently so reviled by Chairman and D of F for supporting Jol that he's effectively persona non grata.

If the writing's on the wall I can't blame Robbo for wanting to exercise what control he has over his own fate.

Thanks for all the (good) memories, Paul.

Heya,

I know this probably isn't the right thread for this, but I was at the Chelsea game yesterday with mates, one of whom was a Chelsea fan, so we were sitting up in the Chelsea end. Whilst we were up there on a number of occasions some chanting started, in particular one idiot, in full view and earshot of the stewards started singing:

"Spurs are going to Auschwitz, Hitler's going to gas them again".

He sang this for about 5 minutes, with a round of applause at the end. This was disgusting, can anybody explain to me, how people get away with this. I thought I hated Arsenal more, but after behaviour like this, I can see that Chelsea fans are the true scum!

I was also in the Chelsea end unfortunately, Harding Lower, and it really made me think...Do we act the same way at the Lane? Have I heard someone shout 'break his leg' etc etc and not batted an eyelid? I have to say I was disgusted, not just with the Chelsea morons, but with human beings in general..Actually put me off going somewhat....Oh, and the most amusing thing was hearing them singing Anelka's name as he was warming up, someone whom 24 hours earlier would have been spat upon by most of them...

Spurs fans are no better. You have people chanting things about Wenger is a paedo and no one complains then. Frankly I think all fans should lighten up, I cant stand spurs, but I would never attack their players or managers personnally in that fashion, or chant moronic gas chamber jokes. When it comes right down to it..its only a game.

Anonymous said...

Lets face it, I know we hate Arsenal because we have to, but at least I would say we are on the same wavelength as their fans, some knowledgable and some less so, but the majority of Chelsea fans are complete morons with no brains, and it is amazing how often that rings true when I meet them during the walk of life.
So their actions should be expected.

Anonymous said...

Re Chelsea Fans... They're not all bad.. but...
At the Chelsea Man U FA Cup a few yrs back I was in the chelsea end. A family of Man U fans v. polite & quiet clapped the third goal .. whilst seated.... a chelsea yob behind gave the father (50's bald, specs you can imagine it) a crack on teh top of the head with his fist. No fight just frightened kids and wailing mother. They left immediately and that was the memory of their and mine FA cup... one of the highlights of their life ruined by a jelous monkey. What were the doing there?? Apart frm enjoying themselve? Don't know. Does it matter? never forgot that and Chelsea seems the most vile away ground. Greater Pikey quotient in West London.

Sparky,

PS Yeah, next year's QPR Reserves fans are, (partly,) racist, bigoted scum.

Does Roman Abramovich (translation: son of Abraham, who was, alledgedly, father off all the Jews) realise? If he does, he's a bigger cunt than I thought...

I wander if Avram Grant, an Israeli-born Jew, with a jewish family and Jewish ancestory is troubled by such chanting? or if the Chelsea fans who sing such vile songs and also chant Grants name realise that such anti-semetic chants would offend their own manager far far more than any of the Tottenham fans... somehow i feel they lack the intelligence and insight to realise that

Anon 8.40pm - Lineker's also still got that bad toe he's had all his life.

Harry - Great pic, reminds me of the good old days...;0)

By the way, anymore transfer news?...have been brushing up on a couple of our centre-back transfer targets and found out that Guglielmo Stendardo is only 18 years old!...how about that?

Looks a tall athletic lad!, too young to settle into our back 4 to plug the goals we're leaking immediately me thinks. Looks a great prospect for the future for who ever signs him, born in Napoli the home of Cannavaro and Gattuso.

So for me it has to be Jarque who at 25 is at a better maturity level to make an immediate impact.

But if he's not available till the end of the season would bring in a short-term prem proven centre-back;

1st choice: Ben Tal Haim, proven decent and could provide adequate cover for a good few years as he's still only 25.

2nd Choice: Martin Laursen, we got to admit is playing well for Villa, and has champions league experience with AC Milan. At 30years old could do a "Naybet" job as experienced back up for the next couple of seasons.

What d'ya think?

EL said...

What can I say, superb job Harry.

Who can argue with Glenda & Ricky kissing a trophy. If only we had a striker in the squad who could smack a 25 to 30 yarder with the aplomb of these two. Why haven't we? Would make a change from having them go in against us.

So who can guess the identity of the player behind the silverware? My money's on Garth Crooks. And what's Ian Paisley doing there?

Incidentally, how is Ramos going to attract players during next summer if we fail to get into the Uefa cup? Gulp!

Come on you Spurs!

RE: Is Commolli actively trying to ruin Spurs?

Ze Prince said: The thing that peeves me is not the players Comolli is signing, and there is no denying it is Comolli who is in charge of transfers, but rather the amounts of money we pay. The whole point in having a scout is to identify talent before the player becomes an obvious over-priced starlet. Kaboul, while potentially immense, cost us £8m. If we'd got him the previous year, it'd have been half that at most. Anybody can see the captain of the French U21 side is going to be a bit of a player. Same with Bale: £10m. Previous season, how much? Three mill max.

Commolli may well have identified future stars such as Berchiche, Taraabt, Olsen, Rose, but few of THESE players are getting in the team. Instead we are playing the ready-made players that me, you or Arsene Wenger's incontinent wife could have spotted.

Just got a phone call from a reliable source and he informs me that Damien Commolli has "convinced" Stevenage Borough's Icelandic striker Gudni Itabarndore to join the Mighty Tottingham. At £26m, it's a snip according to Commolli. He's got English parents and is only nine years old so he fits in with our transfer policy.

For me I was only a kid at the time of that picture, but that was the beggining of my love for our Spurs, we're like long suffering loyal husbands who live for the day the bitch starts give us blow jobs again...lol. If only we could be this loyal in a real life relationships...;0)

Anonymous said...

"Gudni Itabarndore". lol!!

Anonymous said...

Johnny Mac and Shane Mac,

Share your sentiments about this transfer policy of buying first and foremost cos players are young and British.

Yeah if the player is TOP QUALITY, then fantastic if theyre British and young also are nice bonuses, but the fact that the player is the BEST AVAILABLE is more important than the latter 2 attributes. We need to progress to champs league soon i.e in the next 2 or 3 seasons, not another 10 years of mediocracy. This is first and foremost about loving Tottenham.

On the Downing issue still would prefer someone like Arshavin who would make a great Spurs player, looks an absolute dynamo when he plays, great left foot, skillful attacking, aggressive, forceful.

For me Downing only fits the great left foot description but none of those other adjectives.

If Ramos wants him though, in Ramos I trust and will support him like every other Spurs player, as long as it's Ramos' decision which to be honest can't see him completely having nothing to do with any transfer...don't worry lads he's one shrewd cookie.

It's January... it's always quiet in January, especially until the last couple of days... so the journo's have to make rubbish up to fill space.

Robinson was dropped because of poor form, it's a message to him and the squad that poor performances = bench, no matter if you are England's No. 1 or not. It also says to those constantly on the bench that chances will come your way.

You may argue about Defoe not getting games, but he does and apart from the goals (yes I know he is a striker) he has added little to the team. That might be fine if you bang in virtually every chance you get but he doesn't do that.

That means you have to play him almost every game to get proper return on the investment and that is clearly not what Jol wanted or Ramos, when they realised that Keane and Berbatov work so well together.

Don't get me wrong, I think that Defoe is a good player, but he HAS to start virtually every game to be the player we know he can be and as he won't with the current 2 up front I believe we need a different back up.

Of Course if Berbatov left then it would be folly to sell him... ah the joys of management.

Seriously though, to get back on topic, either Ramos has seen enough to want rid of Robinson (but in January?!!! - so I doubt any of this is remotely true), or FAR MORE LIKELY, the Journo's have nothing better to do.

As the SPURS website says, believe only what you read on the official site... but I guess where would the fun be in that!!

Anonymous said...
