We fucking smashed them up tonight, unbelievably we only scored 2 when we should have had 5 or 6.
Then some nob at WHL station starts giving it the old "you only drew with our reserves"
I was at the wrong end to see the first goal, but doesnt look over the line to me from that clip there. and the Hudd's red card was a joke.
Also, no mention of Hunt's disgraceful challenge down in the corner between the Shelf and Park Lane, should have been a red for that.
All in all a bad result and you could tell we had dominated so much when their players were taking there shirts off and throwing them to their fans like they'd just won the cup, let alone scraped a miraculous draw.

Top post, my thoughts too.. Reading? who the FUCK are reading, sorry H but u tell me? Are they really sh*t? Found the ****** key.

Thanks Harry! Our best 11 vs Reading's reserve squad and we draw. Sigh.

Is there anybody else that also fears what the schedule the next 2 weeks is going to do us? Keane's misses on easy chances lately are unlike anything we have ever seen from - if you look at all the competitions, league matches, and the stressful Euro qualifiers, perhaps he is worn down?

Can Spurs really expect to compete in all 3 competitions and the league with the same lineup every match without our squad breaking down?

Hunt is a fucking cunt. look at his reaction after huddlestone's moment of madness. Wasn't this the player who almost killed Petr Cech? players like him should be banned for poor sportsmanship what a wanker

Anonymous said...

a completely random comment with no reference to the game at all. Remeber when we were linked with a goalkeeping prodigy in the summer.......Craig Gordon wtf has happened to him he joined for 9 million and is now not even making the sunderland first team! a team who lost 3-0 to wigan.

Anonymous said...

I think we should sign Hunt! No, seriously. I was thinking only the other day - left footed, fair skill, passion, scores a few goals, committed. Could do with a few of him, no???

signing hunt would be a ridiculous move for spurs, he is only good by comparison because mostly reading are pretty average.
going back to my point about gordon he is now making the team but is shit which makes my point anyway lol

Anonymous said...

I remember watching him (Hunt) on my frequent trips to Brentford (My Local Love). I wanted him to sign for us then, he always had bags of pace and flair, but never as much thuggery as we've seen from him recently. However i don't agree with the comments suggesting he meant to hurt Cech... It was plain to see that was an accident... Anyways, Hunt would be a real asset to the team if we were interested him... Maybe even an answer to the dreaded left wing problem.

We could never sign Hunt, I along with 35120 other yiddos who were in there today now hate the bastard first for his two jammy as fuck goals, the 2nd followed by a run down the east stand goading everybody (maybe because of the caravan songs...), and 2nd because of his push on Zokora that only got a quick word in the ear. Then you compare that to what Huddlestone did, where there was no contact, crazy!

Anonymous said...

When is Ramos gonna do something about that useless twat of a goalie. He is absolutely killing this club and has been for over a year.

As for Hunt, he is without doubt the most evil bastard in the Premiership. No wonder Roy Keane is interested in him. I too thought the Cech incident was an accident but too much subsequent evidence of nastiness to maintain that view.

Hopefully one of our lot will do him in the replay.

"Hey Robbo why don't you try CATCHING the ball for a change? That's it....
..wait..... not when you're..... throw the.... oh for fcuks sake!"

Cerny anyone?

Anonymous said...

Hunt is an evil little twat who almost killed Peter Cech.
He is in the same category as Barton and Bowyer and we do not need scum like him.

TV evidence suggests their first goal did not cross the line but Clattenberg has never been good at judging such things (probably thought he was at Old Trafford).

And as for the Huddlestone Red card LORD HAVE MERCY !

We should have walked it. Two open goals two one on ones. And for all of you deluded romantics out there who believe Jenus and Zokora are of any use whatsoever wise up they are COMPLETE SHITE !

I just hope Ramos doesn't make the same massive mistake that Jol made by continually picking Robinson.

Hopefully he is far to astute to allow him to continue and will bring in a quality Keeper during January window.

Once this position is secured, it will fix the entire defence.

Hey, I'm a Reading fan. You should have put us way away by the time we equalized, could have been a big win. But we're always able to score goals and you're hardly stable at the back right now so you were rightly punished for not finishing the game off, it's what happens in Premiership football (okay, this was the F
.A. cup)

I hate what the media have done to Stephen Hunt. When he arrived I saw him make honest appearances off the bench for a season, he never winged about has lack of football, he just applied himself and he'd even go without drinking at xmas parties if he thought he didn't deserve it. He had a great attitude. He always closed down defenders and hassled all the time, wouldn't that piss you off if you were a full back? But there's nothing dishonest about him.

Then Petr Cech happened. Just to prove there was no intent try dropping your knee at full speed. Mourinho and the media made a fuss, and his closing down and hassling all of a sudden had people on his back. Since then he's got so much better as a footballer and has been getting the rewards for his work, but people just don't focus on his football. He had one bad challenge on Gelson Fernandes and then he's like Robbie Savage. Today I don't fully know what happened but if it wasn't flagged in any highlights it can't have been that serious. So think for yourselves on things like that.

Also the comment that the average team makes him look good. I think the likes of Kitson, Doyle, Shorey and Hunt would seriously compete get into all but 4 of the Premiership's teams, and Convey and Harper would make very useful squad players for the entire top half.

In conclusion learn about football before posting on websites. Realise that if you squander chances and don't win it's your own fault, don't put down players based on what you read in the tabloids and be educated on the team who finished 8th in the Premiership last season before putting them down. And maybe face up to the fact that your team full of sheer class that should be in the top 6 is under performing in the extreme and you're not in much of a position to put others down.

Oh Mr Hotspur, you tease, was our relationship ever in doubt? :P

Anonymous said...

I can write what i want here Billy Big Spuds.
We battered you from pillar to post, and come the second leg we'll do what we should have done tonight.

Anonymous said...

ah onedavemackey..i agree with every thing you said in that post.. particularly the last line..

right...on to the match...of which i saw nothing but the highlights so i'll only comment on the goals...

1. Ball definitely did NOT cross the line.. but what the f*ck was Robinson at anyway..

2. Berb's finish was bloody class...pitty he couldn't have finished the chance against Villa in a similar fashion but what can you do..

3. Berb should be our number 1 penalty taker from now on.. just don't trust Robbie anymore..

4. I'm also blaming Robbo for the 2nd Reading goal.. wasn't up off his feet quick enough..

5. Hunt is a pr*ck.. and that's coming from an Irishman. of course he meant to hurt Cech.. whay do i say that?? because you can see a similar malace in every challenge he makes.. anyone who thinks he would be an addition to Spurs is embarrasing themselves..

6. At the end of the day it was an FA Cup match so anything can happen really. of course we should have won... but anything can happen in the cup... ask Everton and Blackburn fans how they feel tonight..

That is all..

I thought you normally post good stuff, but your continued berating of Jenas and to a lesser extent Zokora, leave me cold. Whoever pulls on the lilywhite shirt, get behind him (except Stalteri!). Have you not seen a concerted marked improvement in Jenas, esp since Ramos / Poyet took over? You really are a twat.

And to the Reading fan above.. fairly decent and honest post mate but i stand by my comments on Hunt..

Anonymous said...

You have to laugh at spurs - they are 7 points off the drop and now they can't even beat our reseves at HOME with their full team out.

I think we are similar size lower mid-table clubs now.

Anonymous said...

I was level with the goal, and I can say that Robbo did not carry the ball over the line.

At best it was level with the line, and I could not beleive the linesman flaging - to give Reading the goal!!!

Another matter - Young-Lee was rubbish today - not blocking or defending in a run of 4 situations!!!

When Ramos subbed Keane off, we totaly lost our shape and were on the back foot for the rest of the game.

Why pay Ramos 4.6M per season, when anyone can tell that what was need was "like for like" subs i.e Defoe for Keane!!!

If Ramos keeps making strange subs - he will be sacked!!!

Harry Hotspur said...

At the risk of being cool... cheers again to the away lot for playing decently...

Reading you aren't Lisborn67 but you were above Cardiff and on a parr with Everton. Villa were good, but emotional.... Blogtastic.

Anonymous said...

1.24, Lee was quality tonight, and what fucked the shape up was the sending off.

Anonymous said...

No! - Subbing of Keane for Taarabt
(63 min), was the start of our downfall!!!!

Ramos must learn very quickly about "like of like" subs!!!

Anonymous said...

Lee young is shite!!!

Anonymous said...

I thought Taarabt looked a threat in the final third.
The next change would have been Berba for Defoe, which would have killed them off.
Just unfortunate that Hudd gave the ref an excuse to send him off.

Anonymous said...

Harry bad use of subs was our mistake.

Reading were there for the taking. Bad misses by Keane and Jenas did not help our cause.

Plus our fans singing to Hunt wheres your caravan probably made him play better and he went on to score his second goal!!!

Anonymous said...

1:36:00 AM +00:00 clearly knows nothing about football tactics!

Anonymous said...

And it seems, nor does Ramos!!!

Like of like subs!!! He can get away in Spain but not in England. He must learn quickly!!!

Anonymous said...

1.48 - Spot on. Ramos' subs have been brilliant so far, so I'll forgive him for a dreadful match yesterday.

I would dump all of our midfielders for a chance to acquire somebody of Hunt's quality. He covers more ground than any other midfielder in the EPL, is a tough tackler (at least he tries to tackle, unlike our current lot), he can break down any defender off the dribble, and he is a phenomenal crosser of the ball (how long has it been since we had a midfielder that could deliver a decent cross?)

Anonymous said...

Well, I am totally despondent. We are going through a change, much needed, but after so much promise over the last 3 years, well I'm gutted. I'm happy with the Ramos/Poyet revolution, but they need their own players to work with and to see us with a confident, winning and with a settled team, it'll take a year at least. Still hopefully the players had the Ars game at the back of their minds, and though we do not need a replay with europe etc, lets be positive. If Keane learns to take more chances, he'll be remembered as a genius, but for all the goals he makes and takes, he does miss some sitters! Berbatov, well I adore him, and all this speculation is breaking my heart, but we'll see. The defence, well, all it needs is some confidence, and after that magnificent result against City, in the QF, what the f**k has happened? Still we murdered reading yesterday, but for some woeful finishing, especially from Keane, Berba and Janas, but here's hoping they'll be totally focused for Wednesday! And has Huddlestone found a mean streak? Sad about the booking, especially with the masive semi's coming. But we lost Zakora against Le Ars in the league, now Hudds in the semis. Is their a conspiracy? Well we are marching on, and we have a date with destiny! BIOYCS! COYS!

Everything I've seen from Hunt before and especially after he went in on Cech shows he meant to do him, he is the scummiest pikey cunt in the league and the day someone ends his career they should be rewarded for services to football.

Anonymous said...

dannyboy. I'm really sorry that I am a twat but hope you know that I still love you.

Totally agree that we should all get behind our team but I can't see how either Jenus or Zokora are ever going to make it. To me Jenus is fast, generally good in the final third but other than that disappointing. He does not tackle well (although he managed a terrific block yesterday) and defensively is rather inadequate.

Zokora is obviously a lovely human being but a defensive midfielder who is poor in the air and seldom tackles is always going to come up short.

The problem for me with both of them is that when the going gets tough they vanish and neither of them seem capable of taking grip of a game and bossing the middle of the park.

Please tell me what I am missing with these two as I don't want to remain a twat forever.

I still love you too, gush. The thing is, I believe with the right player alongside him, someone in the Makelele / Keane mould, Jenas would have more confidence in going forwards. He has undoubted ability, but I believe he lacks confidence. Ramos seems to have given him licence to venture further upfield (?) and I think time will tell. I even suggested making him captain last year - added responsibility, lead by example etc etc. That's all. I doubt if you're really a twat; I just get wound up when any of our quality players are criticised for the sate of criticism.

Don't often comment, but two points:

1, These wankers who can't even idenitify themselves to slag off a blog when they are not forced to read it are sorry cunts.

2, From PL Upper, shelf corner, it looked as though Hunt should've been sent off early in the second half for his off the field ASSAULT upon Zok.

All this shite following a game that it seems only about 50 per cent of us actually saw. Makes you wonder: Do Chelsea have a blog where they slag off Makelele or Essien after they have a bad game? Or United when Carrick or Nani disappear for 90 minutes?

At least we're still in the cup. The absolute knob-end threatening Ramos with the sack if he doesn't wisen up soon needs a good kick in the face. If Ramos had brought Defoe on and little JD had played like he'd done against Villa (ie, generally did fuck all) you'd be crying out for Juande to show some balls and use Taraabt instead.

Ramos's tactics have positively influenced every single game he's been in charge of since arriving at the Lane. We've lost just three times under him: once with 10 men to a last minute stunner, once to the current league leaders and once when we were forced to field a back four of Zokora, Dawson, Tainio and Lee.

Fuck sake, if anybody needs to wisen up, it's you mate: Go support the Gooners, we don't need cunts like you!!! (Three exclamation marks, just how you like it.)

dannyboy.

I agree that Jenus has ability it's his effectiveness that concerns me and I also agree that with a Keane /Makalele alongside him he would benefit. I am still unconvinced that he will ever become the type of player that takes a game by the scruff of the neck I would love to be proved wrong but how long do we wait ?

hahaha very true, ill back robbo as long as he plays but over the past 18months he's very much englands number 3 behind james and green maybe even 4 behind carson now!.

Anyone remember Pat Jennings? There was one game in the 70's when he was interviewed after saving two penalties, and he said that he was satisfied with that "but I was more pleased with six other saves I made in the game". With our strike force and midfield we should be in CL places. Robinson is a clown, and the defense (I use the word "defense" in its broadest possible sense) are his stooges.
