Shirt By Tottenham Hotspur, Hair & Tattoos Model's Own

For many, this was the first real glimpse of the much vaunted Kev Boateng. The fine tuning to his kit allowed maximum upper arm definition exposure and tatooage viewage. A wealthy man, he was able to sport two haircuts at once. Socks up to his eyeballs.

No doubt he'll be adopting the 'lennon-eyebrow' once he's settled in properly. A must have for any budding fashion entrepaneur...

here's hoping that jr can get him as useful in the game as he is in the mirror....

I went to boro on saturday, braving a 5 hour train ride each way, and i've to say, for the time he was on the pitch, kevin prince was clearly tottenham's best player. he doesn't make stupid aimless passes like jj, he actually turns when he gets the ball..and he worked his socks off, chased every single ball down, and even added in a few crunching tackles. theres a lot to come from this boy, he wasn't german young player of the year for nothing..!

I watched KPB play and I was impressed. His touch was classy, his off the ball movement was great and he was fairly fierce in the tackle. Jenas on the other hand was invisible for the majority of the game, other than his mad dash through their box late on.

One thing that was abundantly clear was that the boys have been instructed to have more shots at goal. Lennon for one had more shots at Schwarzer than I can remember him ever having against any other keeper in any other game. Unfortunately, most of the shots were blocked, but that won us lots of corners, which we've obviously been working on - Lennon had some sort of code, whereby he bounced the ball a specific number of times to indicate what type of corner he was going to whip in. They were all fairly woeful, but at least we are working on it.

Also, glad to see Berba will be with us in February. I'm confident Ramos will get the best out of him.

Malbranque Lennon and KPB in the same midfield certainly gives us the capability for high quality technical football.

Now if we could just get Dawson to use the side of his boot for once and actually pass to the midfield...

You mean you dont want to see more 70 yard passes from The Daws?

well harry, heres 'more'. boro were less than average and probably the worst premier league team we've played this year (apart from derby)..so to come away with a draw from that game says a lot about the work that needs to be done. lennon looked rather tired from the moment zokora came on as the last sub (round bout 62 mins), and he was practically strolling to take corners (which were horrible). jj sat on the halfway line during corners (something else i dont understand since hes pretty useful in the air), but at least the tendancy to hit every freekick/corner to chimbonda has now disappeared and we're giving ourselves more options in the set pieces! at the back, kaboul started off the game taking less touches, but as the game wore on he got more confident, took more touches, and against a better team would have been caught out. robbo looks to have shaken off some of the problems that hve been bugging him (touch wood), while daws still isn't the player he was last season. chimbonda also got caught out a couple of times, but nothing like the nightmare ashley young gave him..lee was very average but he has probably been one of the more consistent performers this season. defoe and bent get in each others way too much but its a partnership i can see working out. bent actually won a fair number of headers when the balled was hoofed upfield..a part of his game ive never seen while hes been at spurs. berba and keano were both very poor when they came on but berba looked slightly more interested than he has done previously. steed had a decent game, and kpb as i mentioned in my previous post was great to watch! =D
