Robinson Leads Spurs

Here's a reason to be cheerful.
Some footage that suggests that there ain't anything too rotten in Denmark.

Cerny certainly gave the Redtops an easy story with his 'howler' against Slavia Prague. And The Daily Torygraph ~ a quality paper with some quality writers in it's Sports Section, in fairness, is running with PR being recalled for the UEFA home leg and an assumption that if all goes well he'll get the nod over Radek for the final.

Is the clip here simply PR from PR? Has Cerny been short changed? Afterall, had Robbo himself been deposed after just one foul-up....

As ever, your thoughts gentiles and gentlemen please!

He may be disapointed with the management but i'd say he's always had a special relationship with the fans. I hope he does come in and play tomorrow night! I'll certainly be giving him a welcome back cheer!

A beautiful example of easy journalism..copying from someone else.

I reckon and hope he plays in both games tomorrow and Sunday. Separately, I see Dervite was taken off at half time in the reserves game Tuesday - either he had a howler or is he in the squad for Thursday night, with our well catalogued defensive frailties / injuries? Just wondering. And let's hope Jenas scores the winner in tomorrows game and on Sunday!!!!

(And who's the prick who has a one word vocabulary? Not that Langton idiot???)

Harry, I do get bored with the bickering on threse blogs and forums but have to say I watched the Robinson 'Spurs Are On The Way To..' clip on here days ago. Now I don't know if you can run these things if you didn't record them etc, presumably you can, but certainly you have only 'copied' a submission from a reader of your own site. Either way, what a shitty post to make.. Presumably a gooner.

At the risk of being vilely abused HH; SpursMad posted this 4 days ago.......... sill a good clip though.

If Spurs Mad or ANYONE beat me to it I bow to'em. I was unaware of this or to my shame, them...

I unreservedly apologise for dishing up stale food at once.

No need for the grovelling Harry - it's a great clip and deserves wide-spread airing :-)
I've no affiliation to any blog/forum/mssg board, but do be aware of the FootyMad site - very funny posts :-)

Keep up the good work Harry. I saw this clip a few days ago, but there may be other fans out there who haven't, so to all the critics - fuck off.

Easy dannyboy - criticism (constructive or not) is good for the soul, and definitely good for site hits! ;-)

Also, I was mailed this by 'Matt Kingscote' !

Matt you went in and CAME OUT OF my junk box. Cheers.

Laurie ~ People like me MUST grovel when we get it wrong! ...or too late....? Evens up the nasty nasty when I'm NOT wrong... well. a bit...

Your 'hits' comment aimed at Dannyboy however only distinguishes you as a... w*nker.

Bad form.

Thanks for that Harry !!

I wasn't having a pop at anyone - just pointing out the indisputable fact that an argument on a blog provokes more hits/posts/re-visits than everyone being agreeable and gentlemanly.

A w*nker I am not; and you might like to re-visit my post and then review your "bad form" accusation.

But, tbh, I really couldn't give a sh*t! :-)

Harry, I sincerely hope Robbo only plays tomorrow because Cerny is being rested for Sunday. When one of the Chelsea midfielders/defenders launches a 35 yard strike IMO I'd want Cerny between the posts, otherwise there could be another long range Ferreira/Gallas/Campo etc. strike which eludes the outstretched/out of position/not tall enough/fat Robinson. And before someone say's Campo doesn't play for Chelski I know this, I also know Gallas no longer does. It doesn't help Robbo stop these efforts... and at least Cerny yells at the defence.

Pity he didn't do that at the Arsenal when he was dropped and petulantly refused to come out for the warm up

I used to enjoy this blog Harry. I felt it was one of the few forums I could visit without all the childish bitching that goes on elsewhere and I could get some decent, fairly reliable and entertaining information. However, I'm growing increasingly disappointed in you. Why do you get so defensive so quickly and why do you have to stoop so low as to retaliate in the way that you have been doing more and more lately. Why do you feel it necessary to call someone a w*nker on here? Why can't you just get back to providing a good honest, informative and entertaining blog? As one of your more mature readers I relied on you to provide a haven from all the bloody kids that spoil the other sites but I fear this is now going down the same path. Don't drive me away H, please.

Anyone else find listening to Tim Lovejoy on 606 like having your ears put through a cheese-grater?

Well I hadn't seen this till now. Thanks H

Anonymous said...

I for one had not seen the clip before and I don't care how many other sites it's been on so thanks H. Maybe if I could sit in front of a screen all day I'd be better informed.

As for Robbo I think he deserves another chance and he may not be quite good enough but all in all he is a better keeper than Radek.

I wasn't referring to snot, dannyboy!

"Maybe if I could sit in front of a screen all day I'd be better informed."

onedavemackay - like everyone else here (I suppose??) I'm a mad,sad Tottenham supporter who trawls NewsNow et al for any snippet of info - WHEN I GET HOME FROM WORK!

Harry - I view all blogs etc. I've found yours to be amusing at times. BUT, the 1st time that I posted, I've been abused! ????????????

Your "Jon Gault" (a la TalkSport) approach to your viewers is crap! For the 1st and last time in my long,Spurs supporting life, I've been slagged off by fellow Yids.
I hope that you and your slavering acolytes have a long and happy life together - but I for one will not be accessing your site again.

Laurie don't go !

Harry has been over sensitive recently, besides as you said, aren't most of us Tottenham fans ? It's a bit like blokes in a pub we won't always agree but that's no reason to go elsewhere.

Regarding, trawling newsnow, yes I go on there too but so many other sites are just total crap (sportingo, Total bollocks etc.) that this is the only spurs site I visit every day.

Harry wants us all to leave anyway, we're all racists apparently.
Banter is good for the soul.
Petty name calling is good for nothing.

Wasn't the "w*nker" comment due to laurie posting a ;o) (winker)?

Anyway, I've just been e-mailing the Indy to complain about the fact that several of their stories appeared in many other newspapers today. Then I realised that they were ALL copying each other. Some of them even went so far as to put the same story on the front page. Unbelievable! Apparently they do it all the time.

off topic,

I hadnt seen this but that just makes those who have cooler than me i guess!

I thought it was well worth a post, it was good to see that we arent just a squad of monotonous, mercenary robots like chelsh*te or Ars*nal!! Robbo has always had a great craic with the fans - remember singing happy birthday to him at a home game???

Oh but HH - you couldnt escape without a small whinge! Since when has Prague been in Denmark? ;)

Cheers

I overestimated you H, clearly. Shame on me.

El, most of the so-called news published by newspapers these days comes via 'the wires' (Reuters, PA, etc) or agencies, as it's cheaper than employing someone to obtain original copy. Some of the time, it doesn't even get re-written or 'subbed' prior to publication.

To the fella who described racism as another form of stereotyping.. No sh*t Sherlock.
They are both negative, and both wrong. However, you sir are talking bollox by trying to compare the two as equal. My stereotype of you is of a complete twat, who feels the need to let his petty insecurities loose upon a wider public. Are you scared of the dark?

Cheers chirpy; I was being ironic though. Maybe you were too?
