Tottenham In Dublin : Bale, Kaboul & More To Star...

Stone me, some news at last. I thought I was going to have to slum it and palm you off with some 'Defoe Might Join Villa' nonsense...

Nothing earth shattering, but as I'm off to see the 'glamour game against the mighty Irish' as a friend of ours from Brick Lane called it earlier... it's worth a little post.

The good news is that Bale & Kaboul are playing.

Bale from the training piccies currently doing the rounds seems to look as fit as a butcher's dog.

Also Robinson, Dawson, Zakora and whilst he's unnamed, I'd be amazed if Tallaght (Ahem, South Dublin area) boy Robbie Keane will be absent on the night. Berba and Jenas are supposedly in the party and we can only hope they get to stretch their legs at some point.

A squad of 16 are apparently looking forward to the jaunt and they will also include reserve stars Phil Ifil, Jacques Maghoma, Charlie Daniels and Jamie O'Hara.

Harry's getting an armed escort in and out of Inchicore with a pal, Tom. Life long St Pat's man and top Yid extraordinaire.

Good bar before the game anyone?

COYS!

No Pascal then???

off to Chelsea?

Try The Black Lion in Inchicore. Up to a few years ago the bar was a Male only domain. Strictly illegal of course. Well run pub with good banter and frindly punters. Well, as friendly as the get in Inchicore. Ha Ha.

More interesting is the total absence of Ghaly...

Pascal was asked at a recent game if he was off and he just laughed and gave an emphatic 'No!'

I think he's stopping. I don't think he's a totally disloyal twit - despite what Wiganners might tell you, and he has a great relationship with the lads especially Berba...

Hi Harry

Tallaght is on Dublin's southside. Dublin people have friendly banter about which is the better side of the city to live in north or south.Football wise St Pats and Shamrock Rovers are both from the Southside whilst Bohemians and Shelbourne are Northside. Last time Tottenham played in Dublin Bohemians deservedly beat them 3-1...that was under Hoddle (who did not travel)and was a very poor Spurs performance. I cannot remember the full team but it did include Carr, Anderton, Sheringham, Acemovic. I do however remember Spurs hammering Limerick in a friendly around 1981 (Hoddle scored 3-4 goals) and Drogheda in a European game winning by 5-6 a year or two later. Good pub? Most of them.

Hi there, just had it confirmed by my shirty pal that Tallafornia is indeed South Doh!

Defoe and Chimbonda are in the squad for the South Africa tour (see official site - link below). Anyone who has been supporting Spurs for more than 2.5 years knows the direction the club is going in.

Tom Mayes' pub in Dorset St in central Dublin is home to the official Dublin Spurs supporters club I believe. Good pub too.

So, Harry, you old Irish rogue, I'm surprised this time you ignored the SUN. There you have what every Spur fan wanted: Berbatov telling the world he reject Manchester United offer of ...40 Million! It seems that Sofea Jane and Knowitall guys knew what they were talking about. There were increasing offers starting at 25 and raising until 40. And the guy said no.
Of course you are entiled to think it's because of the love he has for Spurs. Well, I'll tell you what is: fear. The guy is a coward. He feared what might come to him in Man U. So he played it safe. And stayed. But Bent and Keane and Defoe will put him in the place where he belongs.
It's all pathetic and no surprise to me and you know I'm here to tell the hardest truth, those you don't see printed in the papers: he doesn't have a clue and he's lying all the way. He says he was a better player in Germany than last year, which is not true. Last year he had to play for the team as never before.Quote:
"The whole business was an extraordinary success and nobody was more surprised than me when I was able to achieve what I did.”
Then, he still doesn't know why he lost the UEFA CUP. It was all an injustice it was, poor Callimero. But he forgot about his injust ways with Braga. And he believes this season he's going to win a trophy (it must be UEFA, of course) and finish in the top four.
Well, what can I say more than: it's the brains of a football player. The only thing these guys know is their belly button and their wallet. Oh, and pussy, of course, unless they're gay. But some of them at least have balls to fight for renown. This guy is a waste of time. He's not going anywhere, literally and metaphorically. So be it! A penny will never be a pound!
Oh, Harry, and I didn't change my views on this. It's Purgatory. You'll see!

Who's this Kevin Boateng chap then?...

There are some rumours on the net that we may be on the verge of pulling an unknown out of the bag to give us a bit of variety as usual...not saying it's bad. Hope he's not in the Postiga mould...so would be interested to find out more.

Harry can you reach out to any German's out there and find out more about this lad?...cheers.

And no "Uncle Adolphs" or "Wolgang Kuntz" need apply...lol!

does anyone know much about this kevin-prince boateng from hertha berlin? according to the bbc website they've accepted a £5 million bid from us for the german u21 midfielder. harry, any knowledge on him?

also some reassuring comments from berbatov on the skysports website.

Oh Harry, you've become one of a long line of Spurs fans to misspell Zokora.
I'll take a small reward of one of those cheap Home shirts you got from Littlewoods as payment for the proofreading.
Oh and we've signed the guy from Hertha Berlin

Anonymous said...

hopefully long enough for wayne to prove his worth! we need him to put in some strong performances before Jol sells him off on the cheap! Is Routledge travelling out?

Anonymous said...

Tom Mayes is a total shithole and the Dublin Spurs Supporters deserve better.

Anonymous said...

Wolgang Kuntz....indeed vinny!

Kevin is, according to the BBC ( on tablets of stone i presume) a Spurs player after his club Hertha Berlin accepted our bid. I've not seen him play but he excites me after reading reports that he is a bit of an entertainer/loose cannon and a bit of a brat! The squad needs a few more feisty characters.
I want a new pitbull!

I have already got a song for him ( lifted from Mark E Smith of The Fall's 'Big New Prinz'.

Drink the long draught down
Drink the long
Drink the long draught
For the Big Prinz!

He is not (appreciated)!

If this is true then why is there nothing on The Sun's website? I can't even work out what team you might support from your crazy ramblings. Berbatov doesn't want to leave cos he realises that we have the chance to do something truly great at Tottenham.

...plus the yid army are much better fans the ManUre's :-)

why are continually pursuing defensive midfield types while ignoring the proven creative and attacking qualities provided by a kim kallstrom?!? bloody hell, how much cover do we need for huddlestone and zokora? here's to hoping that boateng replaces jenas and not tainio.

(i wouldn't mind rosicky either. if he knows what's good for him, he'll jump off that sinking ship.)

Why do you go to such long and extraordinary lengths to prove what a pillock you are.
When i read your pointless drivel on here all i seem to be getting from you is what an incredibly sour, bitter, self loathing, hate filled little vile creature you are pieced together in something in the magnitude that would give war and peace a run for its money.

you prattle on for hours without actually saying anything. are you by any chance a civil servant?
