Tottenham Hotspur vs Southend

Southend fans are still telling people that they beat Manchester United in the cup, but are a little more reserved with the brag, as it obviously wasn't this one.

Spurs are looking to once again hit the cruise control button on this lot and walk away with not only the conclusive win, but to do so without incurring any more injuries or bookings.

Wednesday night was literally a game of two halves. I spent half time dancin' on the ceiling and full time cryin' in the kitchen. This one is more clear cut, one would presume. And if it isn't, you can catch me with a beat box in a polyester bear suit on a pavement near you from tea time Saturday. Who said light entertainment was dead?

I cannot see a bet of any value, so for pure smaltz, Ricardo Rocha, who is heavily rumoured to be starting is 22/1 or thereabouts for either first or last goalscorer. I'd go last.

Good luck & Come On You Spurs!

Oh yes, and newsnow failed to pick up the last post, so kindly have a look at it while you're here. Cheers.

i hope we sign bale as we really need a decent leftback! lee & ekotto are at times too vunerable!
i am also gutted we flogged davenport! it should of been gardner or stalteri!
also any talk of getting rid of defoe, keane or lennon should be laughed of as they are class!
we need:
bale
baines
c davies
downing
duff
simao
f torres!!
podolski

in my opinion they are just a few players who i think could do a job!
but basically we need to have options to field two teams due to being in 3 cups and still the top 6 to fight for!

I'm very proud of Spurs today. We have two teams too, like Arsenal. All Jol has to do is to be brave enough to rest some players and play others. I would play this team against MU and the other ( with King and Berbs) against Arsenal. The more Mido plays the less he 'll get injured. On the other hand Dawson is a lion, but next Weds. he should rest. And Rocha was the Rock, as I told you before. Did you like his premiere?
We can beat Arsenal if we go all the way forward.

Yes, that's the way I like the boys perform. Good game yesterday. Lennon was awesome, Jenas brilliant at times, Rocha seems to fit in right away. Mido on his way back, it's starting to look bright again. I have a ticklin feeling that Wenger is in for a surprise wednesday. King will be there, probably not Berbs but fortunately we will manage without him. Wenger can use his subs what he want, with that extra determination, confidence, grid and fluency in our coming performance, the expression on his face is going to be sour.
In future Bale will give that needed drive on the left. Next ten games will be won by us.

Amsterdam spurs: so Jol and Davids had a few to many "dutch" words and fists and it seems Davids is leaving to Ajax. Can you confirm that? It's a pity. I feel we need Davids' experience in the mid-field.

Yes, I can confirm that Big Mart won the fight and Davids is off to Ajax on a free.

Btw Jol first had inventarised that Davids had thaught the youngsters all he could teach, so no big loss there.

Well, last match was Davids and Mido's last for Spurs, according to some well informed sources.Mido wanted to go and Ma. City paid what Spurs wanted.
Now Keane and Defoe are to prove their worth against the scum.
