Video Refereeing Won't Happen

The poll results are in and frankly, they aren't quite as I expected. Only 53% with a straightforward YES PLEASE.

But a hefty 34% said NO THANKYOU. Add that to the 13% who went along with the conspiracy theorist's option that the warts & all would be too much and that's the (admittedly slim) majority saying it ain't gonna happen. I would have expected a landslide in favour, but it appears the bulk of you actually get a kick out of the drama.

No two ways about it, if Chimbonda's 'foul' had been assessed by a video referee, the answer would have been 'no penalty'.

Well obviously only 53% of those who voted see 'the correct team winning matches' as the top priority in football.
What the others are thinking is anybody's guess. Strange!

Dannyboy - and others, I watched approx 4 seconds of the video and deleted the entire post. I was clearly getting ahead of myself in allowing someone else access.

Apologies and there will be no repeat performances.

Fuckwits. Talking all kinds of shit and then your team puts out a gutless performance that even your own coach won't deny. All you do is complain about the ref you cunts? Get a fucking grip and grow up just like your coach says. You can have your chance at revenge later. Until then just concentrate on your own team and try to figure out why they gave absolutley nothing on saturday. Cunts.

If you add 53 to errrr the other amount its a lose for sanity...

More like it. Even Lennon was putting it about. Two goals and a punch-up. Now why couldn't we have done that at the Bin Ladium? And Martin, please keep playing Big Tom, he needs games and has more to offer in the long run than anyone else in the centre of midfield. Wish Defoe would put those bloody bread & butter's away. Roll on the next few games and more of the same thanks.

Calm down dannyboy, it's just to remove the entire posts of one or two troublemakers. It won't last hopefully. If you refuse to post you're playing into the hands of the
idiots trying to give Harry a load of shit.

It's strange how people express favour on video intervention after some perceived injustice impacts their team negatively, but not the other way round. Zakora ?

The real issue is whether the delays to play that video intervention would inevitably cause outweigh the need for absolute justice on the basis that refereeing decisions do even themselves out for all teams over time.
