Looks like stamford bridge!

That's because it's empty

These pics are old hat - they've been around for years. Theres another one that shows the inside of the ground and to be honest it looks crappy. The new west stand is out of alignment with the rest of the stadium, breaking the 'bowl'. Hope THFC comes us with something better.

And i say there of a new asda in stratford.

harry did say a new white hart lane, he just didn't say when they were new!

48 00. Why not 55,000 and save having to move in ten years time because we are hemmed in with retail and leisure shite.

Does anyone have the pics from inside the proposed new stadium design?

We have to "break the bowl" as we only have extra space on one side, the West. This is also curently our smallest stand, so needs to go.

The design does look poor though, very plastic and Barrett Homes like.

Doesn't look good. However, with what's around it, it'll look space age....

is this actually an new deveopment, I am sure permission was given a few years back but Levy wouldn't allow it unless we got the new tube station?

There must be a long term plan to develop white hart lane to 60,000, if we are to be considered amongst the elite clubs in european football. This must also mean the surrounding area and access. I have to catch 4 trains to get there, it's a real pain.

In fairness to H these are the mostup to date pictures in the public domain but it is true that Levy is anti WHL if transport routes stay as they are.

Build a new ground from scratch at Picketts Lock. Loadsa room, a canal for waterfront cafe's, resaurants, bars and shops etc. Good parking space. In the heart of true Spurs support. Still in North London. Fuck wembley, stratford and all those shite ideas.

PS. john terry's a chav bigot.

PPS.

The pictures of the 'new white hart lane look like a 1980's council estate!!! Please fucking god it's bullshit.

Where at Picketts Lock? There's no space down by the canal.....

If you need to catch 4 trains.... move closer. They're not gonna relocate WHL to the end of your road just to suit you!

I have to get three aeroplanes, four trains and a bus to WHL. Any objections to moving the ground to Nigeria?
No? That's great. Cheers.

Can everyone please stop moaning - its a new stadium that holds close to 50,000 that menas more money, and better players. I'm guessing that you lot would be complaining if they moved the ground, or if there was a running track, or if it wasn't 'special' enough!!! Get a grip!

It didn't take Daniel Levy visiting many different stadia and pronouncing that a running track killed the atmosphere to convince me. You're talking nonsense mate. A sports track round the pitch would be a mess.

Would help if we actualy had a team that was consistant, scored goals and played for the shirt, not their wage packet! The way we are going we"ll be lucky to get 20,000 regulary next season. Just look at the gypo"s in N7, at least they had some continuity before they made the move(with permission this time). We MUST do the same!

we do have a team worthy of an improved stadium, theyre just not playing to their potential - nowhere near in fact.

im a bit sceptical about the report though. levy always said that until the local transport infrastructure was improved, he wouldn't consider raising the capacity. nothing on the official site about this. where do the reports come from?

Yup, pics have been about for well over a year Harry, sorry fella. Equally, i'd consider taking these down - the sites that put them up before were all contacted by the club telling them to take them down or legal action might have to follow...

just thought you best know :)

Re: Anon 3.51pm

Ok I was winging it a bit but enfield council were considering a bid by the government for a 43,000 capacity athletics stadium including a warm-up and throwing field somewhere at Picketts Lock back in 2001 before the government dropped the idea. There must be room somewhere if Enfield council were considering and Faulkner/Thingamee architects had designed the stadium.(To be reduced to 20,000 after the games).

what about all the rubbish blowing around in the roads and the falling apart and ugly buildings and flats everywhere??

Anonymous said...

Yes, hobo.

If I was still chairman I would sue for being associated to such shit designs as these.

What about the rasta with a tin of tenants in his paw?????

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if we have planing permission yet if so i hope these pictures are fake it looks awful

OK Lets get with the facts.... we have fort for so long and signed countless petitions to just get a new god damn training ground from enfield council. the only way forward.... and i do hate to say this... is to move from white hart lane. i have so many fond memorys of that place and in 96 was playing with spurs as a school boy. the ground is amazing even when half full so even if we do only get 20000 next season thats fine, were the true spurs fans not the fine weather supporters. i travel 4 hours ever match day to see this team play and have done for the last 10 years. i love the gorund the atmosphere and the people. were a true football club with hardley any of this hooligan shit which is good were not like the scum in n7. we need more room to expand though. many points listed are very valid namly 60k to be europes elite etc but you tw*ts claiming well only get 20k are bollox and i god hope u dont support this club cos we dont need people like you hating everything the club tries to do to move forward. lets think about it... would wembley be so bad. look at it from a finacial point of view we will fill the stadium a train goes right to its fuckin front door , and with all internationals finals semi finals etc played there the revenue and income would be immense for this club. we are moving forward and we have it right now we just need time which is what some fans at this club have never given to ppl in the managerial role. please can some pf u just think before you talk or atleast fuck of n go post on a ars*nal site as they ahve fans like you and i would ratehr u supported them that the glorius lilywhites!!!!

ps the stadium may look shit but then again its paper not brick and mortar same shit being said give the board and club time everything happens for us eventually

Wembley cost the FA near to £1 billion so I dont understand why Spurs would be able to take it over and enjoy the income from non - Spurs games. The arrangement could only be on a tennant arrangement.

Personally I'm happy to move, just not to a completely different part of London. We are not a west London club. It would in my view have to be somewhere inside or nearish the heart of our fan base, not anywhere there happens to be an existing stadium. How about we Pull down Ally Pally and build a Spurs fortress on the hill.
Anyway the reality is that we'll just extend what we've got in some way shape or form.

white hart lane forever !!!

ur rite wembley did cos the fa alot however most was a national lottery sports development grant. the fa have paved there way for a considerate amount of debt so tottenham would be the owners of wembly if they could by the fa out and still continue with the proposed footballd evelopment under the national lotteries grant stimpulations and trainning new talent at tottenham hotspur can only be a good thing as we also will not be paying for all the costs due to the development grant
