Skint Members!

Skint gooners have been tearing up their C S A books and telephoning the job agency that finds them toilets to clean - to ask for extra shifts because... The Osama Bin Laden Bowl Box Office has announced it will now cost as much as £94 for category A tickets this coming season.

Tony Madden, co-editor of Arsenal fanzine Highbury High, said: 'These prices are incredibly expensive. The club seems to be turning its back on its roots. Arsenal are relying on fans just moaning and then handing over the money.''It costs an absolute fortune for an ordinary working-class bloke to take his kids along to a game.' This quote I find bizarre. Does this guy live in the 1940's? By working class who does he actually mean? Are the gooners in need of concessions in order to facilitate the unemployed and the retired?

If not, then is the argument that going to a football match ought not be a luxury, so 'anyone' can afford to go?Well let me enlighten you... Life is full of choices - many of which are governed by our pockets - Ford or Ferrari? McDonalds or The Ivy? Primark or Prada? You get my point. So if you want to pay £20 to see a live game, get yourself down to your local a Coca Cola ground. If you want to watch a Premiership match but you don't like the prices?

You're in the wrong shop.

PREM CLUBS' top-priced tickets - Arsenal £94; Spurs £71; Chelsea £60; West Ham £57; Newcastle £50; Fulham £45; Reading £41; Middlesbrough £40; Blackburn, Bolton, Man Utd £39; Man City £38; Everton £37; Aston Villa, Charlton, Wigan, Watford £35; Liverpool, Sheff Utd £34; Portsmouth £30 prices courtesy of The Sun.

Defoe had a great game, i wouldn't worry about him being subbed, his passing was spot on and he really was moving about like he meant it, it would've been great if he had a clear cut pop at goal but i think McClaren saw that.

Defoe had a good game. Lots of intelligent running off the ball, made a goal, looked sharp and some nice touches. His goals for us pre-season were clinical and classy as were Berbatovs. Need to beat bolton confidently and convincingly.

Go on the Spurs!

Bolton away will be good marker for the campaign. It's one of those games you know could get messy. Bolton do not play pretty football and are relentless.

We need to hit them quick and finish them off, and ensure that they don't dictate the pace.

They will kick hard.

We'll have way too much class.
