Tottenham Will Beat West Ham

A nice pair of Irons...

Well what can I tell you? Not much you don't already know.

Kaboul is out. Bale is still suffering from being systematically stamped upon by Big Sam's gravy drinking Herberts. Steed has an ankle niggle.

In short, it ain't great, but it ain't the disaster that some might be trying to paint it.

*****

Here are some odds: BET 365 are giving 28/1 for a Half Time West Ham, Full Time Tottenham. I'll have a bit of that. I don't believe Sunday will be easy at all, Ashton & Co will test our resolve. Green? A Goalie in form. Tottenham, in short, have it all to do. Make no mistake. Spurs need more than a 'spark' from Keane. Berbatov needs to 'come alive' and get magical. Am I wrong?

*****

Here's my pick...

Cerny (won't happen)

Chimbonda Dawson Stalteri Lee

Lennon Jenas Boateng Bale (everything crossed, but essentially wishing)

Berbatov Keane

Now... COYS!

Harry, I am getting worried about you now. Its 23.30 I am still in my office working like a xxxxx. (I work 9.30-5.30pm by rights) didn't show up late today either. Never evereverevereverever say that again in a headline. In the words of the famoud Mr T (or Jermain Defoe) I ain't getting on no plane - I hope Berbas drunk his milk. Hey How'd I get here?

You Foooooooooool

I don't particularly want a heart attack game either 2-0 win would do it for me. No thrills, solid at the back (laughable I know) but they ain't got that argie fack to bail em out anymore.COYS - Or it'll be ramos - why don't you Vamos back to your........ blah blah blah blah blahblah

Harry, what's your take on the new fitness revolution at Spurs lodge? Is Alvarez any good? Jenas, one of the more outstanding athletes in the premiership, makes you hope for the best and fear for the worst whenever he gets the ball. Riquelme, one of the least impressive athletes at Villareal/Boca Juniors, makes the hairs on your neck stand up every time he gets a touch. Glenn Hoddle, with a VO2 max marginally better than Jocky Wilson's and a best 100m time of about 16 secs, made your heart sing. Let's get some footballers first and worry about getting them fit afterwards

Not sure where you are getting your optimism from Harold? We are struggling badly in defence and midfield, so cannot see how we can get a win. Our only hope is if Bale is fully fit as he will give us a better balance, as well as some class.

4:3 Spurs Stalteri to score in the dying seconds!!!!

yeah gay men are hilarious, look at them holding hands being all gay, it never fails to make me laugh, the fact that they are football fans just makes it even funnier. Gays are just soooooo funny. Got any picks of black footy fans, they're good for a giggle too, how about jewish ones?

If you hate fags, don't smoke... Homophobia usually stems from some deep seated paranoia about ones own sexuality...

I'm surprised at you Harry, allowing this sort of idiot his tuppence worth....

Can't help you out on the black fans pictures, as for a jew, I can point you to shots of our chairman in previous blogs. Where you might lose your anal political correctness ? No suggestions. Good luck.

It should be a decent, open game, with plenty of goals. Neither have great defences and if the result is the same as last year I certainly won't complain. I'm hoping for another clean sheet for Robbo so he can get back to the man that saves us games instead of losing us 'em.

I'd expect the team to be Robbo, Stalteri, Pascal, Dawson, Lee, Lennon, Jenas, KPB, Tainio, Berbatov and Keane.

Of course that's assuming the doubts don't make it but I think only Steed and Bale would come in (for Teemu and Lee respectively) and Younes would be on the bench regardless.

Harry- the complete idiot, perfectly formed

Is Taarabt is just absolute shite in training? What in the world is delaying his full debut? It can't just be his youth.

shanemac said...

Alas, I'm afraid we're going to have to suffer through another Jenas-Zokora showing tomorrow. I'd love to see Tainio from the start in the middle myself.
coys.

It's the game that Taarabt announced himself with last year so maybe we'll get another cameo appearance with the injury 'crisis'.

I think Teemu will start purely because he puts his foot in. Steed would be a big miss though.

Malbranque and Tainio in the middle is what I want for Christmas.

oh harry, that pants, why cerny in goal? robinson is so much better! thats why he's number one, scott carson proved why robbo is number 1 in the england side! the team should be - Robbo!(keeo the faith, he's good) chimbonda, dawson kaboul (if fit), bale (if fit), lennon, jenas, zokora, malbranque (if fit), berbatov, keane. if kaboul isn't fit fit chimbonda in the centre, stalteri on the righr (he did score the winner against wet spam last season). if bale or malbranque aren't fit, it pains me to say put lee at LB and tainio at LW. thats the team! i shud be manager! we would defo win!

Predicted Team:

Robinson (following his brown-nosing comments about Ramos)

Stalteri Dawson Chimbonda Lee

Lennon Boateng Jenas

Score Prediction:
3-2
Berbatov 11, Keane 38, Bale 78 - Etherington 54, Ashton 62
