Tottenham Hotspur Keep On Winning: Today's Goals...

Well, the boys look (from this brief clip) as if they're enjoying themselves...

And that's all good by me.

Looking good tbh....16 million and cant score from inside the 6 yard box :P (thats a joke btw i rate the guy highly) c

ant wait for next season however it could all go to pot on the first day if we get complacent like in last years first game (bolton 2-0 :S)

a loss on the first day could lead to us going on a bad run resulting in 4th place being outta reach...then we'll have the pie in our faces :O

Thet's hope the boys deliver!

Thanks for these but I regularly go on 101greatgoals which you showed on this site. It really is a great website.

Saw it on tv. Berba is not amused as far as I could see. Ain't seen him happy during friendlies. What the f*** is wrong with him?

Good show nevertheless, boys.

It was booing. I'm fucking sick of it . The poor cunt does a own goal that costs us the uefa and they won't leave him alone, wankers imo

chimbonda is class, what ever happened to carr?

Yeah, how terrible to expect someone who gets paid thousands upon thousands a week to play good and not score own goals.

8.29, i was there and Berba was happy, when we sang his name he was clapping and putting his thumbs up to the fans and when they were warming up he was having a laugh with Zokora about something! You could tell he was happy anyway lol! 8.31 If your talking about Steed there was no booing but everyone was shouting STEEEEEED whenever he had the ball which might have sounded like it lol!

It does sound like booing, but it isn't.
Berba always plays with a kind of sullen look, and has been criticised before (not really for us) for his style around the pitch which looks like he is not interested or being lazy, it's just his way.

Steed wasn't booed. It was STEEED chants. He also got a good ovation when he was subbed off.

Nah, there are still some stupid, mindless idiots out there that are booing Steed still. Those "fans" are really pathetic to the extreme.

Still, I'm happy with our pre-season. Seven wins out of seven, and we're looking good.

And Dean, my feeling is the ones that would end up with egg on their faces are those who talk up our Champions League chances non-stop. Sure, we've spent wisely and a lot of money too. But come on people, be realistic.

It's one thing having ambition. I'll be looking for us to challenge for a Champions League place. But the majority of fans seem to believe that last season's top four teams have just stood still while we've been the only ones buying.

A shread of perspective is needed at times.

You're right mate which is why they are in my sidebar links.

I credit them unmercilessly when I do get the link from 'em.

They frequently steal a march on everyone as they have the talent to locate clips that many of us can miss.

I reckon steed will rock this season, there's no need to get on the back of one of our own players. At least he didnt throw the shirt away like Ghaly.

letter to steed

I see Jenas is still taking free-kicks, which is a worry.

Sure, on his day he can stick them in any corner, but these days don't happen often enough

As for Malbranque getting booed, i think you need your hearing checked mate.

bloody astounded by robbie keane's volleys. unbelievable. incredible. sensational. stupendous. got it?

The Guardian/Observer are trying to peddle a "Spurs fans want top 3" lie so that they can point at us at the end of the season and laugh about "delusional Spurs fans"

of course he's nice with the fans and it's not his style I was talking about. he looked miserable in South Africa and he didn't look happy when playing here either. I saw him happy before, very happy sometimes, most times last season when he scored, but not now.
hope it's nothing, really...

nice to see I am not the only one who thought Steed was booed. Keane can't half strike a ball on the turn, I cannot think of anyone who can do that quite as well. The futures bright- the futures lilywhite!!!

Hopefully when Bale is back he will be taking free-kicks, Jenas has looked a diffrent player this pre-season lets hope he can really kick on this season
