Two things inspire me to post this.
BigYid's recommendation and the look on Ruud Gullit's face.
Both convince me this chap is well worth a look.

looks can be decieving and but on the other we could get while hes still cheap or wait til hes more proven one gd season doesnt make a great player . . and bale to me anyway is smthin rele special and when he strokes those free kicks u cant tell me it doesnt remind you of beckham. check his technique on the free kicks. just my opinion but cheers again for the info

If a mere yido watching a couple of sentana sports games and a couple of u21's games has spotted this talent then so has the other 100 scouts at the u21's competion

Are we in for this gut then? Who does he paly for at the mo.? I think he would be perfct for LW/LB (he and Bale could constantly rotate and switch. I watched both Hollands games and he was by ar there best player. Go on Jol snap him up quick!!....

Very impressed with roysten drenthe performance, Player left or right midfield but the way he plays problem could play left or right back as well. I was very impressed with ryan babel performance for are 4 choice striker and can play left winger.
Anyone know someone at White Hart Lane we can email this to to get it infront of the Board and BMJ...???
Gullit says stuff like: he was the only one on the pitch who really wanted it, the crowd stands up when he gets the ball, blah blah, and that he only really plays at one pace... (but that doesn't look too shabby to me). Apart from Drenthe, Gullit and friends don't sound too chuffed with the rest of the team...
Jol must know about him; I just wonder whether some other big club's already got first dibs.
Don't let this one off performance get to your heads guys. I watch roysten drenthe weekly playing for Feyenoord and although he has at times shown the ocassional brilliance on balance for the season he didn't stand out. If he was that good he'd already be in the dutch first team. We need a LW of Robben stature able to mesmerise the opposition.
