Tottenham Hotspur's New Home Shirt?

Frankly, I don't know. All I can do is pass it on with the same good faith with which it was emailed to me with. It may be a hoax from a Photo Happy Shopper, but hey...

First impressions? The armpit flash of colour (or fleeing KKK member in silhouette) is unnecessarily sweat patchy and all together a bit Championshippy looking.

Can we not get what we actually want?

After all WE'RE the clowns who have to wear the damn thing. White Shirt with a cockerel on it, please.

Oh yes and a normal neckline might be nice. Anyone spot Robbie tugging at his on Sunday?

HARRY CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY A TEAM WHO HAS A NEVER RED RANGE HAS RED ON OUR SHIRTS, I DID NOT LIKE IT WITH THOMSON AND I DONT LIKE IT NOW.

thats fucking ugly! i saw another version with the LG logo on the front which i couldnt quite figure out since it should be mansion up front..still...its bloody hideous.

A championship looking shirt would probably suit you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

photoshop written all over it

Anonymous said...

what difference if there's red on the damn kit? for all the cash Mansion give us you should be sucking their fucking cocks.

Simon on glory-glory.co.uk did those mock-ups. Seeing as next year is our 125th, you can bet your bottom dollar the shirt will be a break from the norm - always the way.

yeah. who gives a shit about a bit of red. do u know by levis cos they have a red tab on the back? u silly arse

What a load of rubbish, the shirt is going 2 b the same next year as we've signed a three year continuous production contract with puma, it will b exactly the same... except they will make double the amount so that we dont run out like this year! and who cares about a bit of red?....

Anonymous said...

A fake, a guy on COYS forum create this when he was bored, ignore.

Anonymous said...

Assou-Ekotto is going to have some trouble getting his name on the shirt with those bloody things in the way

Anonymous said...

the shirt wont be the same as last year - they'll change the home shirt next season, the away shirt the season after that and the third strip the season after that

Anonymous said...

This is next seasons official puma template so it is very probably our kit will be similar to this.

I think the neck is definitely an improvement but still believe its a fake. They do need to sort it out though so hopefully we'll see an improvement next season!
Com'on the YIDS! Lets gun down the scummers on Saturday!!!!!!

THE FIRST ONE IS DEFINITELY THE SHIRT FOR NEXT SEASON AS SOMEONE PROVIDED ME WITH THIS AT THE GROUND...THE PREM BADGES ON THE SIDE ARE THE OFFICIAL NEW ONES FOR THE 07/08 SEASON ALTHOUGH THE LETTERING WILL ALSO CHANGE..AND THE SHIRT WILL BEAR 125 YEARS UNDER THE BADGE....UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS THE SHIRT FOR SURE...NOT REALLY TOO HAPPY WITH IT, POOR STYLING!

Anonymous said...

reckon this is fake, all the badging and numbering has ben changed for next season, totally new font. The clubs have this SO im sure their proto type imaging would include it

Anonymous said...

the number and names on the back of the shirt are wrong as the prem are changing the font from next season. i just hope puma make a better job of making the kits as my one was falling apart from the day i got it this season. i just hope we have players wearing it that can get us in the top 4 next season.

You see harry no-one is interested in your petty obsessions, pathetic little boy!!! Ha Ha Ha

What do you all expect? It's the same thing every year with all this dont like this and dont like that. It's a shirt. They will only wear it for one season, and who bloody cares. All they ever do is add a blue bit here or there and then take it away again the next year, get over it.
I think it actually looks ok for all it matters, kinda retro. New success please Spurs, and if you must make a new shirt every season to eventually dominate th world.....

Red Red Red If We Stop Going On About The Lot Wearing red And Concerntrate On Whats White We Might Get Some Where

Anonymous said...

This is just a mock up by "STEVEN" off GG NET , (not coys those wankers get nothing right) ....its not meant to mislead anyone and was just his impression of what he thought they would look like

Anonymous said...

sorry to make you all look a bot silly, but daniel levy made clear at the start of this season that the kits would change EVERY YEAR, which goes for home, away and 3rd. as for whether or not this is a nice looking kit, that's irrelevant, we're all mugs and we'll buy it anyway. and the new away and 3rd kits too. deal with it.

Anonymous said...

i'm not really bothered about the style of shirt, it could look like a tesco's carrier bag for all i care, as long as it has our beloved cockerel on it.

harry: who is this bastard who always 'firsts' you with 'Idiot'?

Anonymous said...

as always, harry makes a complete fucking tit of himself.

retard

Anonymous said...

is this a cheap headline to boost advertising revenue Harry? what's the deal with all the adverts?

Anonymous said...

The bloody kit is the least of our problems

Anonymous said...

should be plain white. ALWAYS

the LG one people have seen was newsnow spurting out last years stories and that was posted before we got mansion as a sponsor

Anonymous said...

I have seen the new kits for next season, and can guarantee thats not it.

It plain white with a plain v neck.
and has a diagonal thin shadow stripes running through with the
text 125 years on them.

The away kit is similar to the one posted in design, but only its plain navy - looks really smart.

But wait for it the rumour is the 3rd kit may be red shirts with navy blue shorts a la 1890.

And any chance commentators could stop referring to our current 3rd kit as brown, it’s chocolate and gold

The ads? There have ALWAYS been ads...

Just felt the Adsense stuff was a bit naff, Harry Potter party plates and 'earn £14 a week etc'... at least car hire or a mobile phone or a credit card or cheap calls actually serve some purpose to an adult...

The 'idiot!' poster?
God knows. Who cares?

As for the leaving of 'phone numbers...

PROMISING:

We need four wins in five games!

Jol at his best; who else?

laughter can become dangerous to my health from now on...

Anonymous said...

correct me if i;m wrong, but we are only talking about the shirts the team play in here right ? how can u freaks get so excited about that. its a shirt, you;ll get mugged off buying it whatever it looks like for £45. if you dont like it, dont buy it. simple. doesnt mean you love the team any less, just means you wont walk down the street looking like a chav.

every so often my post won't go through and my password is continually rejected. Then I lose the post which can be bloody annoying if it's more than a couple of lines. Is it a site problem or at my end?

Anyone?

The only suitable sponsers are lager based products (probably bitter) or manufactuers of power tools.

Oh, I wish they did a 'Design a Spurs Shirt' Competition! I did one years ago for a local team, and although I didn't win, It was a great way for the team to get a general idea of what the fans actually want.

I found this page with most spurs home shirts on it: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Tottenham_Hotspur/Tottenham_Hotspur.htm, which is interesting.

Have to admit, I didn't know about the Red shirt in 1890.
