Great clips. Taarabt has the look of a potential genius about him. Strong & aggressively creative, willing to take anyone on, a zidane/Gascoine type? Only 17! Hope he signs on the dotted line soon. He's just what we need. Jenas will be a squad player soon methinks, or somewhere else.

for god sake leave Jenas alone, TWAT

Great video, but credit must go to the person who actually made it!
Y1DD07, who also has some other great videos on YouTube.

To Stick up for El, I like Jenas and he has some great games and won us some points. Trouble is some games he can't even string a couple of passes along. This is not prem football more like non league.

she was in my head, yeah, apparently...

What was she doing in your head?
Has this got anything to do with football?
Did you see the same video clip as me?

please explain, you are worrying me.

Great video, particularly like the angle from behind Defoe as he takes the penalty showing Azza and Big Tom's difference in height.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Over My Head (Cable Car) The Fray lyrics
Artist: The Fray
Album: How To Save A Life
Year: 2005
Title: Over My Head (Cable Car)

I never knew
I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a queue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth
But that's how it's got to be
It's coming down to nothing more than apathy
I'd rather run the other way than stay and see
The smoke and who's still standing when it clears and

Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind

Let's rearrange
I wish you were a stranger I could disengage
Just say that we agree and then never change
Soften a bit until we all just get along
But that's disregard
Find another friend and you discard
As you lose the argument in a cable car
Hanging above as the canyon comes between

Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind

Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind

And suddenly I become a part of your past
I'm becoming the part that don't last
I'm losing you and its effortless
Without a sound we lose sight of the ground
In the throw around
Never thought that you wanted to bring it down
I won't let it go down till we torch it ourselves

And everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind

Everyone knows
She's on your mind
Everyone knows I'm in over my head
I'm in over my head
I'm in over...

Everyone knows I'm in
Over my head
Over my head
With eight seconds left in overtime
She's on your mind
She's on your mind

GREAT SOUNDTRACK CHOICE FOR MANY MANY REASONS

Is it just me or did anyone else think that the commentator was completely biased...Screaming for the West ham goals and mumbling when spurs scored...BASTIDS!!!

el - leave taarabt alone! hes only played 10 minutes and youre comparing him to gazza and zidane!!!! ffs. and jenas was injured when he came off - read the spurs web site. is funny how our run started when he came back from injury. the guy is quality.

Can I just take a minute to apologise to all concerned. I thought this website was here for us to express our opinions on all things Spurs. My mistake.

Thanks to anon 9.16am I now realize how utterly out of order I was to dare suggest that Taarabt may turn out to be better and more consistant than Jenas, and that over time he may even replace him as first choice central midfielder.

Thanks to dannyboy too for pertinently pointing out that by describing Taarabt as a "zidane/Gascoine 'type' player", that I was stupidly and unwittingly comparing him to them in terms of quality.

I feel embarrassed to have made such a fool of myself by expressing these views and if both anon 9.16am & dannyboy would post their e-mail addresses on this site It would privilage me greatly to be able to send any further views I might have to them for editing and approval before publishing.

My humble, profuse and most profound apologies,

EL.

I would also beg forgiveness for not crediting a youtuber. I have been trying to put their names up of late and shall endeavor to continue to do so.

This looks promising:

Two Spurs fans last night in Braga attacked a Portuguese citizen, dragged him out of the car and kicked him, broke the cars' windows and stole the cars' keys. The man was taken to hospital and the fans denied everything as they tried to hide in the hotel room.

I do have a bad feeling about this game.

el - lighten up ffs!

What's your source?

Anonymous said...

That's the problem with these pop songs, you can't hear the words!

Anonymous said...

harry, the source is the media and the police and as you wrote in Morgado's blog you should know it's also there and that the people of Braga are furious with the behaviour of this so called fans: completely drunk hooligans like the idiots they are. I wonder if the club is going to do something about these "representatives".

Anonymous said...

thanks, Syd, you can thank me for the lyrics, but only if you want to...

that guy Morgado has a nice blog about Spurs vs Braga, mostly in English. I believe we can ask him for news.

I guess we can call it the return of the king: Berbatov is going back to Braga. He's the only player of Spurs who played there before.Call it destiny...
