Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur HH Says 'Steel Yourselves Fulham... For Super Steed'

There's no two ways about it. Malbranque has come home.

And it will be a fitting continuation to his Liilywhite house warming activities to watch Steed turn in yet another quality performance against his erstwhile absentee landlords Fulham, come Saturday.

The midfielder with a Lyon pedigree has been an virtually instant hit at The Lane. Moving across London is never a straightforward affair. As sceptics come I would class myself as well seasoned.

Let me tell you... Malbranque is a genuine and valuable addition to an occasionally all too 'up and down' Tottenham team. This chap is brand new.

In conclusion? I haven't much time for Fulham. Coleman is a classless, clueless oaf. Pants up, down or otherwise, he's a gum chomping bore.

Mc Bride? The Stalteri of strikers.
Elsewhere, Defoe is 13/2 as first goalscorer with Berba at 6/1. Pick your boy and get on is my advice. Decent prices for once. The away rot must cease yet again here!

We wll bounce back from the defeat against the Barcodes by beating Fulham I say 2-1 or more I am hoping we beat them 4-0 like we did to Cardiff, just Hope Steed scores too.

McBride is no way The Stalteri of Strikers, Don't knock him. I'm a Spurs supporter.

Grimly admit your right Harold.

PS is only alright. McBride is equatable. Good point. Let's sign Defenders in the gossip columns as well as the usual strikers.

When are you going to ge to interview players then? Good comment made on a previous post...

so, is steed our the answer to the left midfield problem or is he most effective in the middle of the park? interested to hear what people think our best midfield quartet is. the guy's quality, no denying that - he seems a quiet, no-nonsense, 110% effort player - and you can't knock someone who gives his all.

yes, time to end the away rot for good, but I got a hunch today it's not going to be Steed's but someone else's day

McBride is a good striker, you spurs fools. You think that malbranque is a solution to inconsistancy?? he and boa were fulhams two most inconsostant players. They now have a stabel team lead by brown, who is out to prove a point. It will be an entertaining match but don't be suprised by a draw or fulham win...

the only think which would suprise me is if you spelled stable correctly.

Is'nt that supposed to be 'spelt'!! Idiot!

And I think that its 'Surprise'...numpty...it may be wise to correct your own spelling before opening your mouth...fool!!!!

"the only think"... the only fink rite? Go away dunce.

1.32 - You pretty much make my point. I don't yet know about Morte, but certainly Malbranque was a under performing at Fulham and given his committed and profitable performances at Tottenham so far, you have to ask what was preventing him from such displays at Craven Cottage?

Brown is a journeyman player. He tries hard for Fulham, but he fundamentally isn't a stellar talent.

He has certainly hit his achievable career high under Coleman. Enough to depress most players I would imagine...

Sorry 5:30, Isn't that supposed to be "Isn't"?

Anyway, COYS. I am tired of us losing to oppositions we are supposed to win against.

I would not bet my house if the sale of Davenport would mean that Ledley is close to 100% fitness or we have a new CB lined up. We might just repeat another Kanoute->Rasiak feat.

We're signing Richardo Rocha from Benfica...

...allegedly

Thanks Rip.

Just that there's no guarantee that Rocha is gonna be better than Davenport, or Rasiak for that matter.

Richard Rock is leaving tomorrow, according to the media here. He's fast and hard as a rock (Rocha is Rock in Portuguese). The only problem is the pace, but he's experient, so I hope he'll get a good reception in Spurs. There is nothing more important for the Portuguese than to be nice and to have nice people around them (but you saw that during Euro 2004).I learned how to live with that and now it's a bit part of me too.
I also believe he'll be back soon to play Braga in the UEFA CUP. It's a feeling I've got since the beginning of the season that Spurs will be coming to Portugal this year ( it seems Rock's contract includes a friendly at Benfica too).
