10.7 mill, Apparently

We appear to have nipped in ahead of Man Ure and er, the Bin Laden Bowl XI.

Leverkusen’s sporting director, Rudi Völler, confirmed: “Tottenham have been in contact and are now prepared to pay the transfer fee… It is now Dimitar’s decision but it hurts to lose such a class player."

20 goals to his credit and to the best of my knowledge he didn't attend the same charm school as Craig ' All hunchback and forehead' Bellamy. I would expect a medical by Thursday if there isn't any undue fannying around...

good signing hopefully from what i've read on sky sports, leverkeusen homepage the 'big man' foil for defoe / keane as jol seems to prefer.
does this mean no mido next season? the negotiations seem to be dragging on.

Yeah the whole mido thing has fizzled out alright, his dip in form coincided with weight allegations and injury. Of course this was all made worse with the stupid meddling comments of his shabby little agent.

Berbatov is twice the player mido is..a proven goalmachine for years and a teamplayer, i hope he puts pen to paper before another club steals him from us. with him, a good LW and RB we can win the uefa cup make top4 in the PL.

I believe nothing til he's signed and Spurs make an official statement.

Bloody right. The way things stand you can barely believe it's a done deal until they're on the pitch holding the shirt up with Jol. All these deals these days seem all so very fragile. I guess it's a money thing.
