Whining Whining Arsenal

We have, of course been accused of unsporting behaviour. This whole business smacks more of a Chelsea attitude from Arsen, ie 'How dare you come here and expect a fair crack of decisions with the referee!'

Trying to rewrite events after the fact will get *rsenal nowhere. The replay clearly showed the referee couldn't have been any closer to the two reject Marx Brothers when he indicated to everyone to play on. Jol could clearly be heard shouting "PLAY" three times AFTER the decision was made.

It is nothing short of hysterical that Wenger is weaseling on and on about Jol's remarks. Wenger has been 'unsighted' on countless occasions involving *rsenal players accused of fouling. The ONLY complaint the *rsenal could possibly have is that their own team failed to play to the whistle. Teams play to the whistle and not to some parallel fantasy whereby you stop playing when you feel like it. We played them off the park for 75 minutes and too is something they cannot rewrite. What belies all this whining is that the BinLaden Bowl won't see CL footy, it'll be UEFA gate receipts only and no greater fears are borne than those by a club beholden to debt. They know Henry is off and without him they look ordinary.

Carrick said, " If I had realised he was seriously injured I would have stopped and put the ball out." Now for those of you who are finding this really complicated... here's what Steve Bennet the ref said.

Again, for those of you who are out of your depth with all this, he was the chap in black standing only a few feet away from the runnaway clowns who had run into each other and fallen over..."Two *rsenal players went into each other and I assessed the situation. No one was in danger, there was no head injury so therefore the game could go on."

They are facts. Arsen & *rsenal fans can attempt to distort them, but this only goes to make them look hard-done-by, confused and petulant.

Their glorious leader, Wenger said, " The referee could have stopped the game.Yes he saw no need for the game to stop but it does not mean the players could not get up." That is a direct quote and not muddled up in my transcript. What a total mess that man's brain is.

They seem unprepared to acknowledge we didn't lose as usual. The foul on Stalteri has been airbrushed from their memory of the game too. Bunch of arse!

Let's face it, the whole episode shows that they are annoyed at being completely outplayed by Spurs for most of the match and that wenger buckles under pressure. Well wait til next year.

it is sad that they can't accept it . Wenger must really be a prick if he doesn't try to apologise in some way.

We should dump Mido now before he becomes a liability.

Any opinions?

I'm a huge Duff fan, and I don't just mean the Simpson slurp. His game for the Republic against Sweden was a massive performance, and I wonder if he would play like that every week if he was given a bit of latitude - ie, left Chelski?

I have a feeling that Mido isn't going to be signed. He's been quoted as saying if he doesn't stay with us it wasn't the end of the world. The dip in form is one thing, but the injury is a disaster.

Do we need Mido now?

Mido did ok for us, very well at times but overall not well enough to worry over losing him in my view.

I'd be more interested in the whole Mido business if we knew a) exactly how much they want for him and b) who else are we buying???

we don't need mido. all we need to keep are the backbone; robinson, dawson, king, carrick and keane. and lennon. the other positions are all up for grabs as i see it. jenas is fits in nicely and teemu looks more and more confident. we don't need mido because we need someone better than mido.
